B - Protection of personal data

The protection and security of your personal data is important to us.

We process your personal data exclusively with your consent or to execute the mandate or order placed by you for the purposes agreed with you or if there is another legal basis (within the meaning of the GDPR). As a user, you consent to data processing in accordance with this declaration.

When you enter data on our website, the following happens:

Contact form

If you use the contact form on our website, various data (e.g. name, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.) will be provided by you for the purpose of contacting us and processing offers or services. We use your data exclusively to process the services for which you register yourself. If no contractual relationship is established, your data will be irrevocably deleted within 2 months after the service has been provided (e.g. offer).

No directly personal data is automatically collected on our portals. This means that you only provide us with this data through your active input. The provider of this website automatically stores information in so-called server log files, which are automatically transmitted by your browser. This includes your IP address, browser and language settings, operating system, your Internet service provider, date/time, URL (cookies). All of this is intended to optimize the website in terms of user-friendliness and to provide useful information for interested visitors. This data is not merged with personal data sources and no personal user profiles are created.

E-mail request

If you contact us by e-mail at info@students-citylodge.at and provide us with your data (e.g. name, e-mail address, telephone number, ...) in this way, e.g. by submitting the completed registration form, we will only use your data to contact you and process offers or services that you have requested independently. If no contractual relationship is subsequently established, your data will be irrevocably deleted within 2 months after the service has been provided (e.g. submission of an offer).

D - Rights of data subjects

You have the right to information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing as well as a right to rectification, objection, data transfer, restriction of processing and blocking or erasure of incorrect/inadmissibly processed data.

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us violates the applicable data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you have the option of lodging a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.

Right of objection

After termination of the contractual relationship, your data will remain in our system for a further 3 months. After three months, your data - with the exception of the data listed below - will be deleted:

Year of birth
Nationality
Date of moving in
Date of moving out

If no new contractual relationship is established in the following five years, the above data will also be deleted automatically.

You also have the right to revoke any consent you may have given to the use of your personal data at any time or to refuse the storage of your personal data. The right to object/right to terminate the use of data for the agreed purpose can be exercised by sending an email to info@students-citylodge.at. If the right to object is exercised, all of the user's data will be irrevocably deleted within 14 days.
